Emi Buendia knows that he won’t be getting a move to Arsenal in the immediate future now, Goal.com suggests, despite Edu being in constant contact with his representatives.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with the Norwich City playmaker throughout the January transfer window, but they have not been able to reach an agreeable price with Norwich.
The Championship side are demanding £40 million for the attacking midfielder, and Arsenal haven’t bothered to submit an official bid, as the Canaries appear so determined to keep hold of their key creator.
Buendia is now willing to keep performing for Norwich, as he tries to earn them promotion.
A move to Arsenal is not off the cards in the future, either, as he apparently has strong contacts at the club.
Buendia’s representatives are in regular contact with Edu, and it could be that Arsenal try and make a move in the summer.

The news that Buendia won’t arrive in January may frustrate some Arsenal supporters, but their need for a creative midfielder has been reduced somewhat by Emile Smith Rowe’s emergence.
The 20-year-old has burst on to the scene at the Emirates Stadium and has injected some life into Arsenal’s attack.
While the Gunners are now heavily reliant on the youngster, his emergence as such a talent, does take some of the urgency off Arsenal’s need for a new playmaker, and gives the North London club more time to assess their options.
