Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen would consider a move to Arsenal in January despite his previous allegiance to the Gunners’ bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur, according to ESPN
Mikel Arteta has certainly improved Arsenal, but they haven’t had the best start to the season. The Gunners have won just four of their first nine league games, and are stuck in the bottom half of the table.
Arsenal’s biggest concern at the moment is their lack of goals. They have scored just nine times in the league, and haven’t scored a goal from open play in over seven hours of football.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has barely put the ball in the opposition box, while Alexandre Lacazette was benched in the last game. Nicolas Pepe blew his chance on Sunday, while Willian has been poor since the opening day.
Arsenal are really struggling for creativity in the final third, and many feel that a new number 10 has to be a priority in the January transfer window. A number of players have been linked, but Eriksen might just be the most affordable option.
Eriksen would be available for a bargain fee
The report claims that the former Tottenham star would be available for as little as £12 million in January. That is a fee that might appeal to Arsenal given that they will not have a lot of money to spend after forking out £45 million on Thomas Partey in the summer.
The surprising news is that Eriksen would reportedly consider a move to the Emirates. He is clearly unsettled at Inter Milan, where he spent the last two league games as an unused substitute.

Tottenham fans will not be happy if the Dane decides to become a Gunner, but Arsenal will not care. Eriksen has proved his worth in England, and he might just be exactly what they need at the moment.
He has been lauded by some of the biggest names in football including former Tottenham star Luka Modric, who called the Dane ‘a world-class player’ (Sports Mole).
At just £12 million, Eriksen would be an incredible bargain. Arsenal need creativity and the Dane will offer just that. The move may annoy a few Spurs fans too; something that will certainly please Gunners supporters if it happens in January.
