Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin could be a ‘surprise’ departure this summer, according to the Telegraph, with Mikel Arteta now willing to sell the right-back.
Bellerin has been a regular starter for Arsenal since he returned to fitness, and has generally coped well in Arteta’s starting line-up.
However, it seems that the Spaniard could be offloaded in a bid to raise funds.
Arsenal are now open to offers for Bellerin, who is actually keen to leave the club and try a new challenge.
Bellerin has been at Arsenal for nine years now, and Unai Emery suggested his relationship with the supporters had become a little strained.
“With Hector Bellerin. He told me two weeks ago he struggled here with the supporters sometimes when his performance was not the best,” Emery said to Football London.
Those comments may shine a light on part of the reason why Bellerin seemingly is open to leaving Arsenal, and why Arteta would be willing to sell him.

Whether Arsenal will now find a buyer for Bellerin remains to be seen, but he has been linked with some high profile clubs before.
At the age of 25, Bellerin should still have his best years ahead of him, and he could be an appealing addition for a number of clubs.
If Bellerin does leave it could be that Cedric Soares and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are afforded more game time at right-back next term.
