Arsenal are set to make an offer for Le Havre left-back Umut Meras, according to a report in Hurriyet.
Arsenal have reportedly been tracking Meras for some time, and have been scouting him all year.
The Gunners are said to have a limited budget to work with this summer and Meras could fall into their price-range.
The left-back is unlikely to cost a huge amount, with Le Havre playing in the second division in France.

Although Meras’s arrival at Arsenal would hardly scream ambition, he could provide them solid cover in a position where Mikel Arteta could do more options.
Arteta can current chose from three players to play at left-back, but there are question marks over the trio.
Kieran Tierney has had an unreliable fitness record, Sead Kolasinac hasn’t fully convinced and Bukayo Saka prefers to play further forward.
Meras, on the other hand, has impressed in France over the past campaign and although he would be making a big step up, Arsenal’s scouts reportedly feel that he is capable of making the grade at the Emirates Stadium.
