Arsenal are reportedly keen on South Korean forward Hwang Hee-chan.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are looking to sign Red Bull Salzburg forward Hwang Hee-chan, but face a battle with Crystal Palace.
The Gunners have been left a little short in attack with Alexandre Lacazette’s injury, but Gabriel Martinelli has shown real potential in limited playing time.
Given that loaned-out striker Eddie Nketiah will be coming back next summer, signing an attacker who can also play out wide would be ideal, and they appear to have found one.
Unai Emery’s side reportedly want Hwang, who scored against Liverpool in a fine Champions League display at Anfield last week, continuing a fine start to the season.
The 23-year-old has returned from a disappointing loan spell at Hamburg with a bang, smashing seven goals and 10 assists in 11 games for Salzburg.
Hwang’s versatility to play anywhere across the front line is hugely appealing, and with blistering pace as well as major potential, he could be a smart signing for Arsenal.

Palace could be an obstacle, as could Tottenham Hotspur, given that the London Evening Standard reported in 2018 that Spurs were keeping close tabs on him.
The Mail’s report notes that Hwang is close friends with Tottenham star Son Heung-min from their international commitments together, and whilst a reunion with Son may be appealing, it currently seems like Arsenal’s interest is a little stronger.
