Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a move for AC Milan’s French striker.

Niang is reported an Arsenal target
The Gunners are considering a move for AC Milan forward M’baye Niang, according to reports from Italian outlet Calciomercato. They claim Arsenal Wenger is ready to make a another bid for the 21-year-old, after Niang said he rejected a move to the Emirates in 2012 (Gazzetta Dello Sport).
However, the Gunners would face competition for the forward’s signature if they take the plunge for him in January.
The report also claims that it will take a bid in the region of around €35m (£31m) to prise Niang away from the San Siro, though Milan would try to block any potenial move taking place in January.
Has been involved in six of Milan’s goals this term
Niang has been in stunning form so far this season, scoring three goals in seven Serie A appearances as well as providing three assists for his team-mates.
Niang, who made his professional debut as a 16-year-old, is seen as a precocious talent with much potential, though it is his inconsistency that has left many onlookers with doubts.
The frenchman joined AC Milan from Caen back in 2012 and has since scored 10 goals in 30 appearances.
Chile’s Alexis Sanchez has established himself as a frontman under Wenger this season but Olivier Giroud is back up with Lucas Perez also arriving in the summer. Niang would be a youthful addition to the Gunners squad if he were to join.
