Arsenal and West Ham United have both been linked with Slavia Prague wonderkid Abdallah Sima – but now face a new challenger for him.
Calciomercato reported in December that Arsenal want to sign Sima, with Slavia believing that he is the new Thierry Henry.
The Mirror (January 8th, p53) claimed that West Ham were trying to sign the attacker having previously raided Slavia for Czech duo Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.
The 19-year-old has racked up 19 goals and six assists this season, and has shown his versatility by playing out wide and up front.
Sima is tall, rangy and fast, and it’s no great surprise that he is attracting interest. Now though, Manchester United are joining in.
The Manchester Evening News claim that United are monitoring Sima ahead of a possible move, viewing him as a striker rather than a winger.

United see Sima as a fine addition for the future alongside Facundo Pellstri and Amad Diallo, and the Red Devils entering the race is a blow for Arsenal and West Ham.
They can offer Champions League football, something that neither of Arsenal nor West Ham can promise right now; they’re relying on other results.
West Ham at least have strong links to Slavia, and Arsenal will have to hope that Sima wants to live up to that ‘new Henry’ tag by joining the Gunners.
