Arsenal and West Ham United are actively looking to sign Abdallah Sima in the summer of 2021, according to Eurosport.

Juventus are interested in the 19-year-old Slavia Prague forward, but it is Arsenal and West Ham who are the sides who are ‘most actively looking into a deal’, according to the report.

Calciomercato reported Arsenal’s interest in the Senegal international forward earlier this season and described him as ‘the new Thierry Henry’, as covered by HITC Sport.

Rising star

Sima is a very talented and promising young forward who scores goals and creates chances for his teammates.

The teenager, who plays with Liverpool forward Sadio Mane for the Senegal national football team, is quick, hard to mark, and is always a handful for the opposition defenders.

According to WhoScored, the 19-year-old has scored 11 goals in 18 league games for Slavia so far this season, has scored four goals in the Europa League this campaign, according to BBC Sport, and has provided six assists in the league and the Europa League, according to Eurosport.

Comparisons with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry are very encouraging indeed, but one should remember that Sima is only 19 years of age and is far from the finished article.
