According to Bild, Arsenal, Tottenham and Southampton are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt colossus Evan N’Dicka.

The France Under-21 international has impressed in the Bundesliga this season, clearly doing enough to attract attention from the Premier League.

Bild say that the English trio have been ‘watching’ the centre-back.

Interestingly, the German news outlet add that N’Dicka’s agent, Michaël N’Cho Ibou, has close ties to the Gunners.

The 21-year-old has started ten Bundesliga games this season after recovering from a ligament injury, and he’s done well.

According to WhoScored, N’Dicka – who cost €6 million (£5.3 million) – averages 1.3 tackles and 2.1 clearances in the Bundesliga every 90 minutes this term.

Additionally, he registers 3.1 clearances per game in Germany’s top-flight.

So, what type of player is the Arsenal, Tottenham and Southampton target?

Well, the Bundesliga’s official website made an interesting comparison when profiling the Paris-born defender.

They likened him to Barcelona’s World Cup winning centre-back Samuel Umtiti.

Intriguingly, the Bundesliga mention their calmness on the ball, pace, and also the fact they’re both left-footed as comparable attributes.

Standing at 6′ 4″, the Eintracht Frankfurt prodigy seems tailor made for the physical rigours of the Premier League.

In that respect, along with his impressive statistics this season, he could be a shrewd signing for either Arsenal, Tottenham or Southampton.
