Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly battling for Stevenage talent Ben Wilmot.

According to The Sun, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are set to battle over Stevenage defender Ben Wilmot this summer after failing with January bids.
Wilmot, 18, has come up through the ranks with Stevenage, and he has now progressed to become a first-team player at the Lamex Stadium.
The young defender has impressed for the League Two side, and North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are believed to be vying for his signature.

It’s claimed that both teams failed with £1million bids during the January trnsfer window, but are prepared to go head to head this summer once again.
Looking to the Football League again
Targeting Wilmot may not grab many headlines into the superstar-driven Premier League, but it gives Arsenal and Spurs a chance to land another young Football League prospect.

Tottenham have seen Dele Alli thrive since his 2015 move from MK Dons, whilst Arsenal swooped to land defender Rob Holding from Bolton in 2016, with Wilmot fitting a similar bill.
Challenging with Manchester City and Manchester United financially will be difficult for both teams, meaning Arsenal and Spurs may look to develop young players from the Football League in bargain deals.
With 13 appearances to his name this season, 6ft 2in defender Wilmot has enjoyed a promising campaign, and Stevenage will now hope for a bidding war between Arsenal and Spurs this summer.
