According to Sport, both Arsenal and Manchester City were both keeping an eye on the situation while French giants Paris Saint-Germain were also interested.
They didn’t end up making a move, but this could be one to keep an eye on should he not be able to break into the Barcelona team in future.
Arsenal will likely be very keen, especially after the success they have enjoyed taking the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin from the Spanish giants in the past.
