According to the Express, Arsenal and Liverpool are paying close attention to Samuel Umtiti’s situation at Barcelona.
The Express also mention a report from Mundo Deportivo, who claim that Barcelona are trying to sell the 27-year-old.
The Spanish news outlet do not mention anything about Liverpool or Arsenal’s interest – that is information owned by the Express.
Mundo Deportivo claim that Barcelona tried to sell Umtiti last summer, and will try to shift the 31-cap France international again this year.
With a £67,307-a-week salary, Mundo Deportivo say that Umtiti is one of Barcelona’s highest earners.
The former Lyon man has two years left on his contract, but the Spanish giants want him, and his wages, gone from the Camp Nou.

In our view, Liverpool and Arsenal should stay away.
If the Yaundé-born colossus could stay fit, we’d say otherwise.
However, Umtiti has only managed to make 13 appearances in all competitions this season due to fitness issues.

That comes after he only mustered up 18 outings last term, due to foot injuries and knee problems as Transfermarkt shows.
Umtiti is a fine player, and also a World Cup winner. A fit, healthy Umtiti would probably start for most Premier League teams.
However, he is extremely injury prone, so it’s not worth the risk for Jürgen Klopp or Mikel Arteta.
