The Premier League sides are reportedly keen on signing the Las Palmas midfielder in January.

According to Spanish outlet Cadena Las Palmas, Arsenal and Leicester City are eyeing a more for Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa.
The defensive midfielder is currently impressing with the Spanish side, who sit joint second alongside Barcelona in La Liga with nine points from their first four games.
The club is determined to try and get him signed to a new deal, especially after he was close to leaving for Sevilla in the summer transfer window.

However, that is yet to happen and his form continues to attract attention from across Europe.
Two of the teams that are reportedly interested in his signature are Premier League duo Arsenal and champions Leicester City according to Cadena Las Palmas.
Indeed, according to the report, both clubs have already made contact to discuss a potential move in the January transfer window.

Whether either side are genuinely interested in bringing him to England is debatable, however.
Arsenal are well stocked in defensive midfield, with Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny already competing for that spot.
The Champions are equally well stocked, making a move from either club seem unlikely unless they view Mesa as a signing they cannot pass up.
