According to Il Mattino, reported Arsenal and Everton target Jeremie Boga has set his sights on a move to Napoli despite the club struggling to agree a fee.

The Sassuolo winger has enjoyed a superb campaign in Serie A.

Boga surprised many when he departed Chelsea to join the Italian club. But, his move now feels justified as a step up to a bigger club appears on the cards.

According to Footmercato, Arsenal have made an enquiry for the winger.

Everton, meanwhile, are cited in the report by Il Mattino as fellow suitors.

But the Premier League duo are in danger of missing out as the Italian editorial claim Boga and his entourage have an agreement to join Napoli.

The only apparent stumbling block now is a fee, with Sassuolo seeking around £32 million.

Boga has plenty of potential, while Napoli are looking to freshen up their squad with manager Gennaro Gattuso also looking to sign forward Victor Osimhen.

After consistent Champions League placings, Napoli have fallen off this term though they did manage to win some silverware by beating Juventus in the final of the Italian Cup.

Boga, 23, is another option with a long-term future and high re-sale value. He has posted a decent eight goals and four assists in Serie A this season.

Arsenal may have shown an interest as they possibly plan for a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang exit. The forward, who often plays in a wider role, is out of contract in 2021.

The Gunners must sell him now if they can’t tie him down to a new deal.

Everton, on the other hand, must add creativity this summer. Carlo Ancelotti has improved the Toffees, but they are still some way off top six standard.
