Arsenal and Aston Villa have made bids for Emiliano Buendia, according to The Sun.
It has been reported this evening (7:10pm) that both Arsenal and Villa have made official bids of £30 million plus for the Norwich City attacking midfielder.
Norwich reportedly want £40 million as transfer fee for the Argentine playmaker.
The report has claimed that the Canaries expect the clubs to increase their bids in the next two days.
Arsenal or Aston Villa?
It is clear that Norwich are playing hardball.
The Canaries, who will play in the Premier League next season, know that there are two clubs who are very keen on the 24-year-old.
This means that Norwich can wait until Arsenal or Norwich bid £40 million.

Described as an “incredible player” by former Norwich striker Dean Ashton on talkSPORT (4:42pm, February 25, 2021), Buendia would be a good signing for Arsenal or Villa.
Buendia scored 15 goals and gave 16 assists in the Championship this past season.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the creative player scored eight goals and gave 12 assists in the Premier League.
Arsenal are a bigger club than Villa and are a global brand as well.
Moreover, the Gunners will launch a serious challenge for the Premier League top four next season.
Now, Villa are a big and ambitious club as well, but Dean Smith’s side are unlikely to become regulars in Europe anytime soon.
