Arsenal are already planning to make a triple signing in the summer, with a right-back, left-back and Martin Odegaard on their radar, Football London report.
The claims were made yesterday evening, where they said that Arteta was now close to finalising his plans for Arsenal next season.
Arteta and Edu have staged plenty of meetings, where they have discussed what Arsenal need in the transfer market.
And it seems that three signings have been eyed up, with the Gunners planning to make plenty of changes.
Arsenal are looking to find a right-back, who presumably could start over Hector Bellerin.
The Gunners also want a player who can feature on the left-hand side of their defence. They are likely to come in as cover for Kieran Tierney.
The news that Odegaard is being prioritised as their playmaking signing is hardly surprising.

Odegaard has made a huge impact at Arsenal since arriving on loan, with Mikel Arteta speaking very positively about the Real Madrid man.
If Arsenal do complete the three signings it should leave their squad looking much stronger for next term, where another season of mid-table mediocrity surely won’t be accepted.
