A host of Premier League clubs are said to be interested in signing Everton’s Arouna Kone.

According to a report in the Liverpool Echo, Arouna Kone is set to leave Everton on a free transfer this summer.

Kone has failed to break into Everton’s team under Ronald Koeman this season, and will be granted permission to leave Goodison Park.

The experienced striker is believed to be keen on a move away from Everton, but he wants to remain in the Premier League.

The Toffees should not struggle to find a buyer, with plenty of top flight clubs said to be interested.

Everton plan to bring in at least one striker this summer, meaning Kone’s first-team chances could be even more limited next term.

Kone has played just seven times across all competitions this season, and scored twice.

The 33-year-old has been with Everton since 2013, but has never really nailed down his starting place in the Merseyside club’s line-up.
