West Ham United attacker Marko Arnautovic is set to be declared as fit according to Football London ahead of the Hammers’ next Premier League outing against Huddersfield.
David Moyes’ side travel to the John Smith’s stadium on Saturday afternoon as they look to maintain a run of form that has seen the east Londoners go unbeaten in four matches, losing just two of their last nine.
The Hammers’ recent resurgence in form under Moyes has coincided with Austria international Arnautovic finally beginning to prove his club-record fee of £25million, which saw him swap Stoke City for West Ham last summer.
The 28-year-old has now scored five goals in his 20 West Ham appearances, but those five strikes have come in his last six Premier League outings.
The former Inter Milan and Werder Bremen forward has missed the Hammers last two games against Tottenham Hotspur and Shrewsbury Town due to a tight hamstring, but has now been given the all clear after scans.
Three points could see the Hammers climb as high as tenth place, but they would need Crystal Palace, Brighton and Newcastle to drop points, while Huddersfield and Watford would have to lose.
