According to The Herald, Celtic talent Armstrong Okoflex has now travelled down to London in order to complete his move to West Ham United.
Okoflex joined Celtic’s youth ranks back in 2019 having previously been with Arsenal, and there was real excitement from Bhoys fans.
However, the winger only managed two first-team appearances for Celtic, playing for just 39 minutes. Now 19, Okoflex wants to leave for first-team opportunities.
Okoflex heading to West Ham
It’s stated that Okoflex has already travelled down to London as he will be signing for West Ham, beating Newcastle United to his signature.
Okoflex nearly signed for Huddersfield Town in February, and that may have worked out well for him as he is now heading for the Premier League.
David Moyes is thought to be a big fan of Okoflex; he will likely know plenty about fringe players at Celtic given his history at the club, and his personal push seems to have won the race for Okoflex.

West Ham’s youth recruitment continues
West Ham fans may want big first-team additions having qualified for the Europa League, but the club are also looking to the future.
Reading forward Thierry Nevers has joined on a free transfer, and Chelsea teenager Pierre Ekwah has also signed for an undisclosed fee.
Add in that Arsenal defender Levi Laing has arrived too, and Okoflex’s move continues the youth push at the London Stadium, potentially giving West Ham real talent for years to come.
