Aston Villa are reportedly set to sign winger Anwar El Ghazi.

According to VTBL in the Netherlands, Lille winger Anwar El Ghazi has agreed a four-year contract to join Aston Villa permanently.
El Ghazi, 24, was once touted for stardom at Ajax, but lost his way with the Dutch giants before heading to Lille in January 2017.
The Dutch wide man struggled at Lille too, but made a surprise loan move to Aston Villa in August, and the switch has helped revitalise his career.
El Ghazi racked up six goals and six assists in 34 league games for Villa, whilst he even netted in the 2-1 Championship playoff final win over Derby County to win promotion.
Fans have been calling for El Ghazi to sign permanently, and their wish may be coming true, as VTBL in the Netherlands report that the winger has signed a four-year deal with the club.

It’s noted that Villa had an option to make the move permanent, but still had to clear the move with the player and his agent, which have proven successful.
It’s unclear how much Villa are paying for El Ghazi, but having landed Birmingham winger Jota just days ago, it looks like Dean Smith is set to secure another deal in the coming days.
