According to The Telegraph, Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has held ‘constructive’ talks with boss Frank Lampard about his future at the club.
It’s claimed that Rudiger has vowed to do everything he possibly can in order to force his way back into the Chelsea side.
Talks were held over the weekend, and Rudiger was named on the Chelsea bench against Manchester United as he attempts to win his place back.
The 27-year-old will allegedly reassess his situation in January, but now hopes to play enough to see out the season with Chelsea rather than feel that he has to move on.
Goal reported earlier this month that Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United both made moves to sign Rudiger before the transfer deadline, but he turned them down.
Rudiger allegedly didn’t want to sour his relationship with Chelsea fans by signing for a London rival, so no deal was done.

That would make a January move to Spurs or West Ham very unlikely, and his new talks with Lampard seemingly rule out any January move.
Add in that Tottenham signed Joe Rodon and West Ham landed Craig Dawson instead, and centre backs may no longer be a priority for the two sides in January, leaving Chelsea as possibly the best home for Rudiger moving forward.
