Tottenham Hotspur players reacted positively to Antonio Conte when the Italian told them that he could leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to The Athletic.
Following Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat to Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League in February 2022, Conte reportedly said to the Spurs players in the dressing room that maybe it would be best for everyone if he left.
The report has added that the Tottenham players reacted positively to that message from the former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager.
The Athletic have reported that the Tottenham players were ‘fearful afterwards that maybe they were going to waste this exceptional opportunity to work with such a proven manager’.
Perfect response from Tottenham players to Conte

When Conte was appointed the Tottenham head coach, things were bad at the club, with the team not getting results and the morale low.

Conte has changed all that, and the former Juventus boss has been able to guide Tottenham back into the Champions League.
