The 19-year-old made his Spurs debut this week.
Tottenham’s Anton Walkes
Tottenham Hotspur have been catching the eye recently with their continual renewal of player’s contracts.
Yesterday saw Kyle Walker extend his deal with the club. That followed similar announcements regarding first-teamers such as Danny Rose, Christian Eriksen, Eric Dier and Dele Alli.

Next up appears to be Jan Vertonghen. Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino hinted that the next new deal would be a central defender and ESPN reported yesterday that the deal is Vertonghen.
But the report also claims that Spurs are all set to hand versatile youngster Anton Walkes a new deal.

The 19-year-old made his surprise debut for Spurs in the 5-0 win against Gillingham in the EFL Cup. The teenager, whose preferred position is in holding midfield, is said to be in talks with the Tottenham hierarchy but has so far not signed any deal.
Walkes’ rise into the Tottenham first-team is just yet another example of Mauricio Pochettino’s philosophy to give the talented young players at Spurs a chance to impress him enough to become regulars at the club.
Walkes has been impressive in the under-23 side this season and it appears that Spurs are set to offer him a well-earned new deal.
