It has been reported by the British tabloid that the World Trade Organisation have asked Saudi Arabia to deal with TV piracy allegations.
This is ‘another stumbling block’ in PIF’s attempt to buy Newcastle from current owner Mike Ashley, according to the report.
The Premier League have yet to make a decision on the proposed takeover, with PIF ready to pay £300 million to Ashley to buy the Premier League club, according to the report.
Back in action
While it is a bit uncertain about Newcastle off the pitch, the Magpies are back in action on it this month.
Steve Bruce’s side will take on Sheffield United at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Magpies are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 35 points from 29 matches.
Newcastle are as many as eight points above the relegation zone and are unlikely to get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
