Salomon Rondon has scored six Premier League goals since joining Newcastle United on loan from Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion.

Salomon Rondon has attracted interest from another Premier League club as a result of his impressive performances on loan at Newcastle United, according to The Chronicle.
The Venezuela international moved to St James’ Park on loan from West Bromwich Albion after a prolonged transfer saga during the summer transfer window and has provided a much needed presence in attack.
Rondon has also scored six Premier League goals, the most recent coming in the dramatic 2-1 win against reigning champions Manchester City.
But who knows where he will be plying his trade next season? According to The Chronicle, Rondon wants to stay at Newcastle permanently and he’ll cost less than the £16 million West Brom were demanding a few months ago due to his precarious contract situation at The Hawthorns.

It is understood, however, that Rondon has caught the eye of another Premier League club, who enquired about signing him in January. Newcastle faced competition in the summer of 2018, with clubs from Spain and China also interested in the forward.
Newcastle, then, will have to move fast if they want to keep Rondon on Tyneside. Because it doesn’t take a genius to work out that this is quickly going to become a challenge.
