Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are set to allow 14 players to leave this summer, with Pedro Caixinha ringing the changes.

According to a report in the Scottish Sun, Glasgow Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday has been told he can leave Ibrox this summer.

Rangers are keen to offload Halliday, with the 25-year-old now set to leave on loan.

Pedro Caixinha has brought in Ryan Jack and Carlos Pena to strengthen his midfield ranks this summer, and there is now no place for Halliday.

The combative midfielder is understood to be disappointed about having to leave Rangers, as he is a boyhood fan of the Ibrox club, but Pedro Caixinha has reportedly decided there is no way back for him.

Halliday is set to be ordered to train with Rangers’ youth-team, with Caixinha determined to only put time into helping players with prospects of breaking into his senior squad.
