West Ham United forward Andy Carroll was sent home from training on Monday, but a report has suggested that he has since returned.

Football London reports that Carroll and Moyes had a disagreement a day after the forward struggled to hide his frustration at not being introduced during the Irons’ heavy Premier League defeat to Manchester City as Moyes made a triple substitution during the second-half.

Although Carroll has not enjoyed a particularly impressive season this term, it would undoubtedly be a boost for the Hammers if he is back in the fold as their situation is still precarious.
Following back-to-back 4-1 defeats, West Ham are only three points above the bottom three with three games to go, and both Huddersfield and Southampton have registered a win in one of their last two games so have some momentum.

Carroll has only scored three league goals this term, but he is definitely an asset worth having given their current situation given that he offers something different.
And even if Moyes has little intention of using him more regularly in the remaining games, it could certainly be argued that just ironing out any differences between the pair could be beneficial for the harmony and atmosphere amongst the squad during a massive couple of weeks for the club.
