West Ham United and Watford are said to be leading the chase for the Italian defender.
According to Calcio Mercato, it could be a straight fight between Watford and West Ham United in the race to sign Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.
The 28-year-old is out of favour at the San Siro, featuring just five times in Serie A this season and failing to make it onto the pitch in any of their last five matches.
That has seen Ranocchia linked with a January exit and it is now being claimed that the Premier League looks to be his likely destination, with the Hammers and the Hornets circling.

Both sides could do with defensive reinforcements and the 21-capped Italy international certainly has plenty of experience. But it remains to be seen if his style of play is right for the Premier League.
Watford are currently 14th in the table and while their 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough was good from a defensive standpoint there is still some work to do to ensure they remain in the top flight next season.

West Ham are slightly better off, but their defence has come in for plenty of criticism this season and it would be no surprise if manager Slaven Bilic attempted to strengthen sooner rather than later.
Ranocchia would be a risk. The question is: Is he one either West Ham or Watford are willing to take.
