The Leeds United manager is yet to sign a new deal that would keep him at Elland Road next season.

According to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United co-owner Andrea Radrizzani will hold talks with manager Garry Monk ahead of his side’s Championship clash against Wigan Athletic.
This follows the news that the Italian is hopeful of completing his full takeover of the club, with Massimo Cellino set to step aside after an eventful tenure.
Monk is approaching the end of his current contract and has seen Leeds fall out of the top six at the business end of the campaign, meaning they will be playing second-tier football yet again next season.
That bitter blow has seen some question Monk’s position, although the vast majority of Leeds fans would be devastated to see him go, and the YEP now reports that Radrizzani will sit down with the manager this weekend to discuss his future.

It would be best for all concerned if the former Swansea City boss was offered a new deal, allowing him to continue the good work of the last year.
There are still plenty of positives to take from the season, and while Leeds fell at the penultimate hurdle, with quality additions this summer Monk can still lead them back to the promised land.
