Everton loanee Andre Gomes has reportedly rejected West Ham United.

According to The Mirror, Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes has rejected a move to West Ham United – and has told Everton he’s ready to join them permanently instead.
Gomes, 25, decided to join Everton on loan last summer, taking a chance on a move to England having struggled in two years at Barcelona.
The former Valencia man rekindled his career at Goodison Park, featuring prominently under Marco Silva whilst getting back to somewhere near his best.
Gomes now returns to Barcelona, but it’s only expected to be a temporary return, as Premier League clubs are queueing up to sign him this summer.
The Mirror now report that Gomes has rejected a move to West Ham United, and told Everton that he’s ready to join them permanently after his successful loan.

Tottenham have backed away from the race, meaning that Everton may now be all alone in the pursuit of the Portuguese international, and a move looks almost inevitable now.
That would be the ideal start to the summer for Everton, but leave West Ham looking for other options in midfield as Manuel Pellegrini suffers a first major blow of the transfer window.
