Newcastle United goalkeeper Matz Sels is reportedly on the radar of Anderlecht.

Anderlecht are interested in signing Matz Sels from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to The Sunday People (print edition, page 58, June 18, 2017).
It has been reported that the Belgian club, who will play in the group stage of the Champions League next season, have made an offer to sign Sels on loan, but Newcastle want them to pay the goalkeeper’s entire salary.

The Magpies signed the 25-year-old goalkeeper from Gent in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Sunday People (print edition, page 58, June 18, 2017) to be worth £4.5 million.
Much was expected of Sels when he arrived at St. James’ Park, but the former Belgium Under-21 international endured a disappointing 2016-17 campaign on a personal level.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper was able to make only nine appearances in the Championship last season, as Newcastle won automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Given the fierce competition for the goalkeeper’s position at Newcastle, it would make sense for Sels to leave St. James’ Park in the summer transfer window.
