The Championship club’s takeover could be completed during the November international break, according to a report.
The takeover of Nottingham Forest by an American consortium could be completed before the end of the month, report the Daily Mirror.
John Jay Moores is heading the consortium who are alleged to complete a takeover of Forest in a £50 million deal, could have the agreement wrapped up during the international break, which begins after this weekend’s round of matches, according to the English newspaper.

The Daily Mirror also report that the deal is understood to allow Forest’s current owner Fawaz Al Hasawi to maintain ‘full control of the club,’ but he will not retain a 20 per cent hold in the Nottinghamshire based side.
Of course any takeover deal can not be completed unless the potential new owners pass a owners and directors test by the Football League.

The report states that Moores would face an owner’s test, along with Charles Noell, his business partner, before they can take over the English outfit, after previous attempts to invest in Swansea City and Everton fell through.
Moores has previously been involved at a high calibre level of sport before, having owned Major League Baseball outfit, San Diego Padres.
