Amanda Staveley reportedly makes formal bid as Newcastle United takeover take shape.

She could become the new face of the club if the deal goes through. Staveley’s investment fund, PCP Capital Partners, who are backed by 28 billion from the Middle East and China, are expecting to get the deal done by Christmas.
Mike Ashley took control of Newcastle in 2007 for £134 million. He has officially put it up for sale earlier this week.

The report claims that Staveley could invest as much as £300 million in Rafael Benitez’s transfer funds.
They have targeted Newcastle because of its strong global following and the opportunity to grow rapidly.
Newcastle United fans will be desperately hoping for the takeover to take place. Most importantly, the fans should get exited about the investment in the transfer fund that is being mentioned.

Ashley reportedly promised to provide Benitez around £100 million in the summer transfer window, but we all know how it panned out.
If Benitez gets around £100-1£50 million (not even considering £300 million) as transfer budget, he can bring in top class players and take Newcastle to a new level.
