Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho.
According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace have joined the race to sign Liverpool outcast Mamadou Sakho, with Sam Allardyce desperately pursuing new signings.
Palace finally claimed their first win under new manager Allardyce on Tuesday evening, as two Christian Benteke goals helped see off League One side Bolton Wanderers in a 2-1 FA Cup win at Selhurst Park.

After five games without a win under Allardyce, a huge weight has been lifted for the Eagles – but this weekend, the Eagles are back in Premier League action against Everton as the battle against relegation continues.
Palace are only clear of the relegation zone by goal difference, and are just one point clear of bottom club Swansea City. Now, with manager Allardyce desperate for new signings after landing his first new face last week in Jeffrey Schlupp, the Daily Mail claim that Palace want to land Mamadou Sakho from Liverpool.

The imposing French centre back, 26, has made 80 appearances for Liverpool since a 2013 move from Paris Saint-Germain, but has been completely frozen out by manager Jurgen Klopp this season.
With no appearances to his name this term, Sakho has been expected to leave Anfield this month, and Palace are now entering the race for his signature in a bid to strengthen a porous defence.
It’s stated that the likes of Galatasaray and Sevilla, as well as some other Premier League clubs, are all keen on Sakho, though his asking price could be a major concern for Palace.
BBC Sport reported last week that Liverpool want a whopping £20million for Sakho, and whether Palace are ready to splash that kind of money having just spent big on Schlupp remains to be seen.
