Everton are reportedly keen on Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi.

According to BBC Sport, Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi isn’t actively looking to leave Arsenal, but would leave for Everton if they meet the asking price.
Everton are in the market for a new winger, and having seemingly given up on Wilfried Zaha, they have turned their attention towards Iwobi.
The Toffees launched a £30million bid for Iwobi, but the Gunners rejected that offer, instead pushing for around £40million or even more ahead of tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
It’s added that Iwobi isn’t really looking to leave Arsenal, but if they accept a bid from Everton then he’s willing to make the move to Goodison Park.
That suggests that, whilst Iwobi would prefer to be at Arsenal, he won’t sit around and stagnate if they feel better off without him.
After all, Iwobi has been on the Arsenal books since 2004, and has now racked up nearly 150 appearance for the club, so breaking a 15-year stint with the Gunner won’t be easy.

Yet with Nicolas Pepe signed to play on the right, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang potentially on the left, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan still in the mix too, it’s hard to see Iwobi playing a key role.
A move to Everton may be ideal for the 23-year-old Nigerian, where he would play more regular first-team football, for a team really pushing to make the top six.
Marcel Brands has worked wonders so far this summer in the transfer market, and may just have one more deal up his sleeve with Iwobi – but will have to up his bid by at least £10million as things stand.
