West Ham United are reportedly pursuing a move for Albian Ajeti.

According to The London Evening Standard, Basel attacker Albian Ajeti wants a move to the Premier League as West Ham United look to beat Brentford to his signing – but West London Sport claim Aston Villa have been keen too.
The Hammers have splashed the cash on one striker this summer in Sebastien Haller, but may still need to bring in one attacker before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Lucas Perez, Marko Arnautovic and Andy Carroll have all left, so another attacker to support Haller, Javier Hernandez and Michail Antonio would be ideal.
With little money left after deals for Haller and Pablo Fornals, West Ham need to shop for bargains, and are now in talks about an £8million deal for Basel striker Albian Ajeti.
It’s claimed that West Ham are attempting to push through a deal, and should be confident as he wants a Premier League move rather than joining Championship side Brentford.
West London Sport back up that idea, and add in that Aston Villa have also registered an interest in Ajeti, though whether they firm up that interest before the deadline remains to be seen.

Ajeti, 22, hit 21 goals in all competitions for Basel last season, and has also picked up one goal in seven caps for Switzerland.
An all-round forward with potential, Ajeti could be a bargain at £8million, offering depth to Pellegrini’s attacking options without having to break the bank again following Haller’s move.
