Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah has been linked with Newcastle United recently.

Adomah enjoyed a remarkable campaign at Villa last term, where he scored on 14 occasions and provided five assists.
The winger was reportedly hoping that his good form would be rewarded with a new deal, but Villa are in no position to offer him one right now.

The claret and blues financial struggles mean that there is no new contract offer on the table for Adomah, despite his desire to stay.
That has caused some speculation to emerge over the tricky winger’s future at Villa Park.

Newcastle United have been linked with a move for the 30-year-old, although the Birmingham Mail suggest that no bid has been made yet.
Adomah’s current deal at Villa expires in two season’s time, so Steve Bruce’s side do still have time to sort out a new contract, even if they fail to offer him one this summer.
