Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Arkadiusz Milik has cooled, Football London report.

There had been claims in Italy that Tottenham were set to meet with the striker’s representatives today, as they looked to seal a deal.

However, Alasdair Gold has poured cold water on those suggestions with his latest update seemingly playing down Tottenham’s chances of landing the forward.

That could be a blow to Spurs fans, who had been excited for Milik’s potential arrival.

The Polish international appeared to be one of the best options available to Spurs, given his goalscoring record and experience.

But the latest report claims that Tottenham are struggling to convince strikers to join them.

The usual problem of persuading a goalscorer to come simply to play second fiddle to Harry Kane is proving a tough sell and, despite making attempts, Tottenham’s striker search looks set to continue for a while longer yet.
