Aitor Karanka is yet to make a signing at Nottingham Forest.

According to a report in the Nottingham Post, Aitor Karanka is still eyeing up four additions at Nottingham Forest this month.

Karanka is still yet to make a signing since taking charge at the Reds, but is thought to have funds to spend.

The Spanish boss is now anticipating a busy last few hours in the transfer window, with additions planned at the City Ground.

Karanka feels that Forest needs to inject some quality into their squad, if they are to meet expectations this season, and he wants as many as four new players before the deadline closes.

At the top of Karanka’s list of priorities is to sign a striker, with Dinamo Zagreb star El Arbi Hillel Soudani believed to be one of their top targets.

Forest have already offloaded Jason Cummings this month, and Karanka is eager to replace the Scottish striker, who has joined Rangers on loan.

Forest are currently in 14th place in the Championship table, and only a wonderful run of form would put them into promotion contention again this season.
