The agents of Arthur Cabral are looking for alternatives to Leeds United, according to UOL.
It has been reported that it is uncertain if the Basel striker will get a work permit to play for Leeds in the Premier League next season.
The report in the Brazilian news outlet has added that the Whites’ initial offer of €15 million (£13.37 million) upfront plus another €3 million (£2.67 million) in bonuses is not what Basel want, with the Swiss club demanding that the striker’s release clause of €20 million (£17.83 million) be paid in full.
According to the report, the agents of Cabral now consider the move to Leeds to be very hard and are looking for other clubs for the Brazilian.
No big loss for Leeds United?
While Cabral is a good striker who would make Leeds better, the Whites may not miss him, as they are on the verge of signing Rodrigo, who will compete with Patrick Bamford.
According to The Times, the Spain international – who can operate as a striker or as a winger – has passed a medical and will join Leeds from Valencia for an initial transfer fee of £27 million.
