Football.London are reporting that agents within football were shocked that Fabio Paratici is acting as though it’s business as usual at Tottenham as a potential ban from the sport looms.
Paratici was implicated in the recent scandal at Juventus that saw the Italian club docked 15 points, and he’s facing a long-term ban from the sport.
However, he was apparently working as he usually would in January, completing deals for both Pedro Porro and Arnaut Danjuma.
Paratici does still have a job to do, but there’s an element of controversy around the fact he’s still working as he usually would at Spurs as this ban looms large.

According to Alasdair Gold, on the recent Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham Podcast, it is likely that Paratici will be banned and will potentially have to step down from his role at Spurs in the near future.
In fact, it’s also mentioned in this report that Spurs are bracing themselves for Paratici to be banned.
However, right now, he’s still in a job, and he’s not allowing these outside influences toa affect his day-to-day responsibilities.
Paratici worked on deals to sign both Porro and Danjuma in the summer, and while his off-field issues have been highly publicised, both Villarreal and Sporting also seemingly had no issue when it came to dealing with Paratici.
Agents, on the other hand, were surprised to see him in meetings and leading discussions over transfers last month, but his ban is not yet in place, so he’s more than entitled to crack on with his current job.
What the future hold for Paratici is unknown, but if his ban from the does extend to the wider footballing world, there’s reason to believe that this could be his last transfer window at Tottenham.
