According to Calciomercato, Yerry Mina has been offered to AC Milan as his agent works to get him away from Everton.

What’s the story?

Well, the £120,000-a-week Everton man’s contract expires in June 2023, and it seems his agent is already thinking about his client’s next step.

Calciomercato believe Mina has been ‘proposed’ to AC Milan, although the Champions League side cannot afford to sign the centre-back.

It’s said that salary and commission costs make the deal impossible to do for AC Milan.

That is good news for Everton, as Mina has shone under Rafa Benitez this season.

However, it’s a bit worrying to hear that the £27.19m man’s agent has been going around Europe offering his client to other clubs.

Everton must make Yerry Mina decision

Allowing Mina to enter the final year of his contract is a risky decision.

Unless the Toffees sell him this summer, the 38-cap Colombia international could end up leaving for free if he decides not to renew his contract.

Given how much Everton spent on him – including his huge wages – that would be a real kick in the stomach for the Merseysiders.

So, it’s time to make a decision.

If Benitez has any doubts about Mina committing his future, or would simply like the funds to spend on another position, he should sell him in the summer.

However, if Everton want him to stay, it’s time to start discussing a new deal now, until it gets too late.
