Sivasspor manager Riza Calimbay wants his Super Lig side to pursue a January transfer for Salomon Rondon after an approach from the Everton striker’s agent, according to Fanatik.
The Venezuelan joined the Toffees this summer to afford Rafa Benitez improved centre-forward depth after Moise Kean joined Juventus. But has so far failed to fill the void that Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s ongoing issues with a quadriceps injury created.
Rondon has failed to score a single goal across seven Premier League appearances or in the Carabao Cup against QPR. The 32-year-old is also yet to provide an assist in 505-minutes.

Part of Rondon’s struggles to lead the Everton line prior to Richarlison’s return stemmed from the forward’s lack of fitness. He joined on a free from Dalian Pro in August without any pre-season, after not playing since the end of a loan spell with CSKA Moscow in May.
Everton beat interest from Sivasspor to secure Rondon’s transfer on Deadline Day after the Turkish side spoke with his agent. But Yigidolar will now push to acquire him in January.
Rondon’s agent has alerted Sivasspor to the possibility of the £43k-a-week striker leaving Everton in a mid-season transfer. And manager Calimbay wants to see him now arrive.
Sivasspor will not break the bank to take Rondon to the Eylul Stadyumu, however. And it remains to be seen if the forward accepts leaving Everton for a club 15th in the Super Lig.

Should Everton sell Rondon to Sivasspor in a January transfer?
Benitez will hope to have Calvert-Lewin back to join Richarlison in attack soon after the international break ends. He also has Ellis Simms – fresh of a new contract – available.
If Simms can show Benitez he is ready to be the Toffees’ third-choice striker, Rondon may be surplus to requirements.
Opening the possibility for Rondon to leave Everton and join Sivasspor in a January transfer with Yigidolar boss Calimbay keen.
