Mino Raiola is negotiating a deal that would see Moise Kean swap Everton for Roma for an eventual £20 million, according to Calciomercato.
Just last year, Toffees fans up and down the land were toasting the arrival of a bona fide wonder-kid who played a major role as Juventus were crowned kings of Serie A once again.
Kean also became the youngest player to score for the Italian national team in six decades that very same season. But, if 2019 felt like a breakthrough year for a centre-forward with world-class potential, 2020 has seen his rapid rise grind to a shuddering halt.
Kean has been less Romelu Lukaku, more Denis Stracqualursi in that famous blue kit.
One goal in 26 games was far from what was expected from an explosive forward who has hogged the headlines for all the wrong reasons recently.

And, if reports are to be believed, Kean’s Everton career could be over sooner rather than later. Calciomercato suggest that Roma are about to reunite Nicolo Zaniolo with a boyhood friend at the Stadio Olimpico with the Serie A giants negotiating a £20 million loan-to-buy deal.
If Everton accept, that would see them take a £7 million loss on a player who promised so much but delivered so little in that famous blue shirt.
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison going from strength to strength under Carlo Ancelotti and committing their futures to the Merseyside giants, Kean is unlikely to be missed.
