Report: Agent has held talks about sending £215,000-a-week player to Arsenal

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have reportedly held talks with the agent of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

According to CM, Dusan Vlahovic’s agent, Darko Ristic, has held talks with Arsenal over the Juventus striker potentially moving to the Gunners in the summer transfer window.

The Italian news outlet has claimed that Vlahovic’s agent has also held talks with Chelsea and Manchester United.

CM have added that the £215,000-a-week (SalarySport) striker is eager for a new experience and wants to leave Juventus in the summer transfer window.

Juventus want as much as €90 million (£77.32 million) for the 23-year-old Serbia international striker, according to the report.

Could Arsenal sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus?

In our opinion, Arsenal could be able to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

That Arsenal have reportedly held talks with the agent of the striker suggests that the Gunners at least have some interest in him.

Now, of course, Arsenal are well stocked in attacking areas.

Gabriel Jesus is the number one striker at the Gunners, who have already signed Kai Havertz from Chelsea this summer.

However, there is always room for good players in any squad.

Vlahovic is a very good number nine and is a ‘natural’ goalscorer.

While Jesus is a very mobile forward, he has not been particularly prolific in his career so far..

Vlahovic scored 10 goals and gave two assists in 22 Serie A starts for Juventus last season.

During the 2021-22 season, the Serbian striker scored 17 goals and gave two assists in 21 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina, and scored seven goals and provided one assist in 12 Serie A starts for Juve.

If Arsenal are willing to pay what Juventus want for Vlahovic, then they could be able to convince the striker to move to the Emirates Stadium.
