Liverpool are reportedly interested in Matthijs de Ligt of Ajax.

It has been reported that Liverpool and Manchester City are among the clubs interested in signing De Ligt from Ajax in the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old has emerged as one of the best and most promising young centre-backs in Europe, and the Netherlands international will be a very good signing for Liverpool in the long run.
De Ligt already plays with Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk for the Netherlands national football team, and the two players could form a formidable partnership in defence for the Reds.

The Mirror has claimed that De Ligt’s agent Raiola believes that Liverpool is the ideal club for the teenager.
However, according to the report, Liverpool will have to make the Dutchman the highest paid player in their history if they are to bring him to Anfield this summer.
According to WhoScored, De Ligt made 33 appearances in the Eredivisie for Ajax this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process.
