According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham and Brighton are interested in signing West Ham target Davide Frattesi.
What’s the story?
Well, it was said that West Ham tried to sign the Italy international over the summer, with Sassuolo valuing their No.16 at £26m.
Now, Tottenham and Brighton have joined the race to sign Frattesi.
Gazzetta dello Sport believe the Premier League sides will continue to scout the 23-year-old over the coming months, with a January bid possible from one of the English clubs interested.

Frattesi has become a key man for Sassuolo, scoring two goals in seven Serie A appearances so far this season, which is a very impressive return for a central midfielder.
It represents good progress for the Italian, who only scored four goals in 36 Serie A outings last term – clearly, he is improving his efficiency in the final third, having already scored half of his haul from the 2021/22 campaign.
West Ham & Tottenham may face serious competition from Brighton
Usually, Brighton wouldn’t stand much of a chance when it comes to competing against the likes of West Ham and Tottenham in the transfer market.
Both London-based sides possess a larger budget, while they can also offer targets European football.
However, the Seagulls may have an opportunity on this occasion, thanks to Roberto De Zerbi.
The Italian – who has just replaced Graham Potter at the Amex Stadium – actually worked for Sassuolo in the past, and did a fine job in charge of the Serie A side before he left to join Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk.
Therefore, negotiations between De Zerbi and Sassuolo could run smoothly given the connection between the pair, which David Moyes nor Antonio Conte have with the Italian side.
Keep an eye on this situation, as we could soon see Frattesi in the Premier League.
