Southampton are among the clubs interested in signing Ben Elliott from Chelsea, according to The Sun.
What’s the story?
It has been reported that Southampton, Brighton and Hove Albion and Brentford all are interested in Chelsea attacking midfielder Elliott.
The 18-year-old playmaker is out of contract at Chelsea at the end of the season.
The defending European champions do not want to lose the talented player and are keen on tying him down to a new deal.
However, Chelsea are reportedly worried that Elliott, described as “an exciting attacking midfield player who can both score and create” on the club’s official website, could be tempted to leave.

Tino Livramento 2.0?
Southampton signed Livramento from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Like Elliott, the 18-year-old also came through the Chelsea academy.
The England Under-21 international defender has already established himself in the Southhampton first team.
The teenager has scored one goal in 11 Premier League appearances this season.
Elliott could be tempted by a move to Southampton given the progress that Livramento is making at St. Mary’s Stadium.
