Milot Rashica is now in negotiations to become Jadon Sancho’s replacement at Borussia Dortmund, after snubbing Liverpool, according to the Independent.
Sport Bild claim that Liverpool wanted the £33 million-rated forward, but he had no interest in moving to Anfield.
Rashica still looks set to leave Werder Bremen this summer, but it won’t be to join Jurgen Klopp’s newly crowned Premier League champions.
Instead Rashica could become Sancho’s replacement at Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United thought to be his strongest admirers.
Rashica has also enjoyed an impressive season in the Bundesliga and possesses a lot of similar quality to the England international.
His reported decision to reject Liverpool has to be considered a blow to Klopp’s side, who have already faced frustration in the transfer market recently.
Liverpool have missed out on Timo Werner, while getting hold of Thiago Alcantara is proving to be problematic.
