According to Lequipe, Milan Skriniar has finally agreed his long-awaited move to PSG.
Le Parisiens have been in for Skriniar for months at this point, and after a lengthy battle for his signature, the Ligue 1 giants seem to have got their man.
PSG have done this deal the hard way, and they’ve had to fend of interest from some of the Premier League’s top dogs.
Indeed, Tottenham Hotspur were strongly linked with Skriniar throughout the past year, while Liverpool reportedly held talks with the Inter Milan defender just weeks ago.
However, as has become almost inevitable in the transfer window. PSG have got their man, and their backline will be bolstered.

This is certainly an interesting move from Skriniar because he’s far from a guaranteed starter in Paris.
Indeed, with Marquinhos, Sergio Ramos and Presnel Kimpembe already at the club, Skriniar will be jostling for position in that backline, but he clearly backs himself to earn a spot in Christophe Galtier’s team.
This agreement is likely to see Skriniar join in the summer when his contract expires, but PSG aren’t completely ruling out the possibility of making a January move for the player who would reportedly cost between €10-15m to sign this month.
What this means for Spurs and Liverpool remains to be seen. It feels as though Liverpool were only in this race because Skriniar on a free transfer was too good of an opportunity to pass up – so don’t be shocked if they don’t target a new centre-half now.
Meanwhile, Spurs’ backline needs some major surgery, so their hunt for a new centre-back is likely to go on throughout January and potentially into the summer.
PSG have certainly landed a talented player here as they look to become the dominant force in European football.
